1) How to delete your account and data
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data in one of the following ways:
Option A (in-app, if available):
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm.
Option B (by email):
Send an email to office@hand2go.com with the subject:
“Data Deletion — Hand2Go”
In the email, include:
– the email/phone number linked to your account (or another identifier used in the app),
– a short request: “Please delete my account and personal data.”
To prevent fraud, we may ask you to verify that the request is made by the account owner (e.g., replying from the linked email, confirming in-app, or other reasonable verification methods).
2) What will be deleted
Upon deletion, we delete or irreversibly anonymize (depending on technical/legal requirements):
– profile data (name/username, photo, contacts if any),
– your listings/requests/trips (where feasible without breaking system integrity),
– in-app messages/chat content (if applicable),
– internal account identifiers linked to you.
3) What may be retained (and why)
Some data may be retained where required:
– to comply with legal/accounting obligations (e.g., payment records),
– to prevent fraud and ensure security,
– to resolve disputes/claims,
– to comply with payment provider/regulatory requirements.
In such cases, retained data is kept only as long as necessary and used strictly for these purposes.
4) Processing timeframe
We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable time.
Typical target: up to 30 days after verifying identity and receiving a valid request (may vary by law and verification complexity).
5) Third-party services
Some data may be processed by our vendors (hosting, analytics, payments, identity verification). After account deletion, we take reasonable steps to delete/anonymize data with such vendors to the extent possible under contracts and technical constraints.
